Nov. 15, 2010 - PRLog -- As Americans we often live our lives with blinders on...why?   Well, like all other people, we Americans tend to focus only on what is current and fail to remember the past.  We are supposed to be intelligent and learn from others mistakes, but it seems we don't.  The Soviet Union crumbled under the massive debt of its bloated military infrastructure by trying to keep up with the Jones (which was America) and in so doing, incurred massive debt, deflated the value of the Ruble, and caused the collapse of what was once a great empire.  Too bad, now the Russian mob is here in American!  So here we are in those same shoes with massive crushing debt caused by a bloated military we do not need, inappropriate weapon systems our Congress buys that simply does not add value nor make sense.  We are overly stocked with federal government offices and organizations in place with duplicity and waste that we do not need, and which don’t add additional value to taxpayers (Like the SBA and Department of Commerce, Federal Trade Commission, and Department of Education), and yes, we are headed for the same calamity that befell the USSR!  Look at what France and England now have to deal with.  We are already there. CAN’T WE EVER LEARN?

America is not much different that the USSR.  We have a Politburo called Congress, that does nothing, Congressional members that enrich themselves at our expense, and Congress can’t make any decision that truly enriches the lives of Americans by using sound logic and reason.  Instead they bicker like a bunch of elderly women, worse yet, babies.  So, we are forced as American taxpayers to suffer the slings and arrows of outrageous decision making or lack thereof.

Now, Mr. Obama did not create the gigantic MESS that our nation is now in, but he and Congress on the left and right over the last two years are responsible for having NOT helped resolve our poor economic plight.  Mr. Bush through his inept presidency spent our money in a wasteful manner and enacted policies without proper forethought.  Mr. Obama and those that have remained in power have failed to act decisively to alter our nation’s course.  Are we doomed?

WAR.  Our wars cost money--LOTS OF MONEY!  To date the Republicans (and Democrats) have spent three trillion dollars on the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, and the debt is just piling up.  War does not constitute any added value to anyone, certainly not those men and women that die for a bad cause.  What war does do is kill good people along with some bad people.  It destroys infrastructure which like idiots the American taxpayers are forced to help rebuild through USAID, the STATE Department, and the Millennium Corporation (do your homework about this quasi-government entity and why it was formed, and whose money it is wasting).  It frustrates and humiliates people of all nations, races, religions, while at the same time uniting them in hatred towards the aggressor-America.  So what good is war?  Well, it makes large corporations and their stockholders very rich for one thing.  Lockheed Martin, KBR, Halliburton have become famously rich off of war and were assisted by their cronies Bush and Dick Cheyney.  Today our military doesn’t kill sheep and people with dumb bombs (2000 pounders) that cost a mere couple thousand dollars…oh no, today we kill sheep and boys and girls with very smart bombs and missiles that cost one to two million dollars a pop.  One to two million dollars a pop?  Get outta here I say!  Well, it’s nice to know that Lockheed Martin is getting rich making Hellfire and Javelin missiles that cost several million dollars and they are producing them at astonishing rates because of the war that we fight-but will NEVER WIN.  If you want to see the massive manufacturing plant the produces the Javelin and Hellfire missiles to Ocala, Florida where LMC has their plant on Oak Road.  It’s amazing. Lockheed cranks out hundreds of missiles every week.

The Afghan Freedom Fighters received literally hundreds of thousands of stinger missiles and rockets from Ronald Reagan and Oliver North to help fight the USSR, and today they use those same weapons we gave them to fight and kill our boys and girls serving there in an ill-gotten war.  So what will happen to the Javelin anti-tank missiles we now send over there to help fight an unwinnable war?  Well, they will end up in the hands of terrorists that hate us, just as the stinger missiles did. What shame that we cannot learn from the mistakes of other nations, and the own mistakes in the past.  America needs to learn to stay the hell out of the policy and politics of other nations, stay out of wars that DO NOT directly impact America within its borders.  Please tell me where is the U.S. Constitution does it say that we (America) have the right to invade or do anything that is "outside" our borders?  IT DOESN’T.  We are only to protect and defend "our borders" and so, from this simple issue we could be in good financial health, could have invested our money well-spent on America’s infrastructure and rebuilt schools, sewers, hospitals, roads, power grids, etc.  But nope, we as a nation have squandered our tax money on a useless thing called WAR.  A war that is not just the BUSH WAR, but the BUSH/OBAMA WAR.  WAR=STUPIDITY.  Stupidity is electing public officials that are not smart, nor intelligent and act on the proper behalf of all citizens.

The crushing debt of missiles and bombs that cost millions cannot go on, nor can rebuilding other nations infrastructure in lieu of America's, nor can we keep on printing money that weakens our dollar, thereby increasing the debt other nations carry with our currency.  China now owns America and it will NOT be long before they call-in our debt and tell America to ante up! The crushing debt of stupidity and indecision can no longer be tolerated.

WAKE UP AMERICANS AND WRITE CONGRESS-OR STOP COMPLAINING WHEN YOU HAVE NOTHING LEFT, AND ARE FORCED TO SPEAK CHINESE
