GRAMMY NOMINATED PIANIST DAVID LANZ, who helped transform New Age Music by drawing the genre away from meditative music and into deeply-felt instrumental music that’s been well received by mainstream listeners. In 1988 David released his album “Cristofori’s Dream” which stayed at the top of the charts for 27 weeks and by 1993 was certified gold. David’s “Christmas Eve” album is considered by many to be their favorite holiday CD. David Lanz co-wrote the well-known song: “Seasons in the Sun” which was #1 on the pop charts; Davdi’s 1st solo album was “Heart Sounds,” followed by “Cristofori’s Dream” the #1 position on Billboard’s Adult/Alternative New Age Album, then David Lanz released the CD’s “Skyline Firedance,” “Return to the Heart,” “Bridge of Dreams,” “Christmas Eve,” “Convergence,” “Scared Road,” “Songs from an English Garden,” “East of the Moon,” and other CD’s including “Finding Paradise.” David contributed to the Grammy Award-winning “Acoustic Garden” album.
