Dos & Dont's For South Florida's Court-Ordered Foreclosure Auctions
Learn how to navigate the complex world of foreclosure auctions in South Florida. Presented by CondoVultures.com. Veteren investor Rich Meyer is the keynote. The event will be moderated by Jose Suarez.
Topics of the seminar will include an overview of the foreclosure process from Lis Pendens to the sale date; completing a title search: understanding the chain of title; preparing for the auction date; devising a winning bid strategy; and tips to proceed after the sale.
Meyer, a veteran investor and instructor of the training programs for The Foreclosure Academy in Pembroke Pines, Fla., is a foreclosure help and short sale expert with more than 30 years experience in the real estate and default industry.
While bank actions from the foreclosure freeze offer a temporary reprieve for embattled homeowners, the timing could impede the housing recovery in South Florida, a region hamstrung with distressed inventory that has recently seen declines in foreclosures.
The loan default amount in the tricounty region decreased 38 percent in the third quarter of 2010, compared to the same period in 2009, according to a recent CondoVultures.com report.
Presented by CondoVultures.com, the Nov. 16 Condo Vultures® Seminar Series program, "Dos & Dont's For South Florida's Court-Ordered Foreclosure Auctions," will begin at 6.30 p.m. and will be moderated by the licensed Florida buy-side brokerage Condo Vultures® Realty agent and veteran investor Jose Suarez.
A networking session begins at 5.30 p.m.
