South Africa's Reputation As Premier Sports Destination Grows As The World’s Best Fly In

Nov. 12, 2010 - PRLog -- November 2010. Following the resounding success of the 2010 FIFA World Cup, the South African Gymnastics Federation (SAGF) has been keen to capitalise on the attention it received and attract other major sporting events. The International Gymnastics Federation has awarded the 2013 Gym for Life World Challenge to Cape Town and at the beginning of December the City of Tshwane will host the Bumbo Gymnastics Cup. This international competition will be graced by the presence of some of the world’s best coaches that include Valeri Liukin, who is father and coach to Women’s Artistic world champion Nastia Liukin (USA).
Bumbo has sponsored coaches and Gymnasts from Russia and other countries  who will also be guests of honor at the world games in South Africa. Russian Coaches Ivan Mazur and Mykola Nazarenko accompanied by their champions are one of the first talent to arrive.  

In addition, Mr. Buitendach also gave ZAR1 000 000.00 to host the Bumbo Cup, an International Competition for Trampoline, Rhythmic and Artistic Gymnastics that will be held in the Joni Bach Sports Centre on the 02 December, 2010 and at Matsport Centre on the 03-04 December 2010. An enormous thank you, therefore, needs to be extended to Mr Johan Buitendach for his overwhelming contribution to South African gymnastics. Buitendach is also inventor of the world famous Bumbo Baby Seat and products.
