Follow on Google News | NISTM Announces its 21st Annual Florida State Conference on Storage Tank Management in TampaThe National Institute for Storage Tank Management (NISTM), a non-profit organization, will hold its 21st Annual Florida State Conference, a one-day conference on storage tank management, on November 18, 2010 at the Wyndham Tampa Westshore Hotel.
By: NISTM The one-day conference is designed for engineers, managers and other individuals involved with operations, construction, environmental compliance, spill prevention and response or management activities associated with underground and aboveground storage tanks. The seminar will cover topics such as state financial responsibility requirements, EPA enforcement, local perspective on storage tank compliance and more. “This course will provide attendees with the information they need to meet the State FDEP rules and requirements to integrate regulatory requirements into their storage tank management programs,” said Jim DeMartini, NISTM’s Director. Founded in 1989 and headquartered in Tampa, FL, the National Institute for Storage Tank Management (NISTM) is a non-profit organization that provides educational opportunities, resources and training seminars about the operation, regulation, and management of underground and aboveground storage tank systems. The Institute has a partnership with the National Organization of State AST Program Managers, and works with numerous state and federal organizations responsible for storage tank regulation, oil spill prevention and response, in addition to interstate liquid petroleum pipeline regulation.
