Jamaican singer/songwriter makes American debut
(New York: November 09, 2010) Critically acclaimed artist and entrepreneur David M is releasing his CD Here Comes Your Life (BGM Entertainment) in the states in January 2011.  This is the first album for the Jamaican renowned singer songwriter, who has written hits for Gregory Issacs, Freddie McGregor and Coco Tea among others.
The 10 song CD features the inspirational single “Lest We Forget” http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=27Ipjv2xu2k a poignant tribute to the struggle for human rights. The video has been getting airplay on BET and other networks nationwide. The album also features the hit song “Girls Night Out” and the album’s title track “Here Comes Your Life”- two Top 10 singles in Jamaica with corresponding videos http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bHqOi68y8Wc and  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CcdNYG3tP9M&feature=related . “Girls Night Out” has been picked up by Rhythmic Radio stations across the US and was the highest charting single in that format last week. The video held the #1 position for 3 consecutive weeks on the popular Jamaican CVM "hit list" and then grabbed the #1 slot for two weeks on the Hype TV top ten "VTX" video charts.

“Here Comes Your Life” is getting attention from the club scene; with lyrics that remind us that we can never escape our past, a gentle reminder of how things can come back to haunt all of us.  The album also features the song “Heart of Everyone” which pays homage to the legacy of the legendary Bob Marley and “This Is Our World” a song that has attracted the attention of the United Nations for an upcoming campaign.
Although David M began studying piano at age 6 his father insisted that he pursue a more professional career. “I spent most of my childhood singing and performing,” says David. “This lead to writing and producing my own songs until my father suggested I put things on hold for awhile in order to finish school. He wanted to make sure my brother and I received a solid education. I went to college and then law school. Soon after my Dad passed and my brother and I took on the family responsibility of running his company, the largest waste disposal services company in Jamaica. All the while I continued to write songs for others, as music has always been my passion. I finally decided it was time to write songs for my own album, and now it’s here.”
David M was recently featured in Black Enterprise Magazine http://www.blackenterprise.com/magazine/2010/09/30/recapt...  and will begin touring the states in January 2011.

Steamy Hot Photos from Isat Unbreakable Video Shoot!
A picture tells a thousand words, yes! Photos released from Isat’s video shoot for his current single Unbreakable does just that.  The video was shot and directed on location at East Avenue in Kingston and Phaze III by the man himself, Isat Buchanan for Isat Productions and assisted by Director of Photography Yakub.  Unbreakable is the type of song every woman loves and the reason why the Director hand-picked his perfect video spouse, Darielle Hopkinson for the shoot as well as created the décor for bedroom scenes to emphasize exactly what he meant when he said “our love is Unbreakable” in the song. Persistence is to keep trying!
(Kingston, Jamaica 11-10-10)   With much to accomplish and a full proof plan implemented to further enhance a recent growing trend of international media interests, female Lovers Rock Artiste Sophia Brown is confident than ever before about the future of her career. Ever since taking the decision to pursue music as a career, and like every artiste whose goal is to gain international recognition, Sophia yearned for the day when she becomes an internationally acclaimed artiste.  “It is never an easy task (this business of music) and the challenges are insurmountable, but when you can actually see growth from your work, it is encouraging and keeps you going.”  This, in response to Sophia Brown’s debut entry on the New York Top 30 and Chris Coxson UK Top 20 Reggae Charts and the media interest being on both charts has generated.

Sophia Brown has been busy over the past few days with live radio interviews via the telephone many of which spiraled from the recent chart entries her Cashflow produced single entitle, “Let It Be Me” has made. Sophia has consistently been promoting her music locally and has been on and off almost all the local music and video charts but has for the first time entered a U.S. and U.K. Reggae chart.    The local promotions has its benefits and this is evident from the interviews, as in almost all cases previous releases such as Love You Pure and Weak to You were played before the more recent songs such as Gimmie That Good Love, Lovers Rock and Let It Be ME.  In an interview with DJ Bush of More FM Belize, the DJ not only played all her popular songs but before dropping Let It Be Me excitingly declared, “folks in a minute I’m gonna give you the big chune that’s mashing up the charts in a few!”  Sophia has been interviewed on Solid Rock and Galaxy Radio base in London, Reggae Radio in Vermont New York and K103.7FM with DJ James Bond base in Montreal.
Elated, Sophia Brown accelerates her next plan of action, she leaves the island soon for Los Angeles to shoot yet another video for a new single she has coming out early 2011.  The single is entitled, “Catch Me If You Can” the title track on her sophomore album to be released early next year.  On her return she will be shooting a video for her current, Lovers Rock single and both videos will be shot and directed by U.S. base Video Director Kai Morris.
