Nov. 10, 2010 - PRLog -- The 2011 Yukon comes in three trim levels with either two or four-wheel drive and can seat up to nine. The basic two drive wheel 1500 SLE is equipped with a gas/ethanol 5.3 liter or 4.8 liter, V8 engine.  Upgraded two wheel drive comes with the 2WD 4dr 1500 Denali with a 6.2 liter, V8 engine.  A 5.3 liter V8 engine with SLE and SLT versions are available on the four wheel drive Yukon. Top of the line for this model is the AWD 4dr 1500 Denali with a 6.2 liter engine. The Denali models deliver 403 horsepower, the two wheel drive SLE is rated at 295 hp, and 320 hp for the SLE 4WD with Active Fuel Management. Also available is Hybrid 2WD and 4WD models with electric drive system and rated at 332 hp. Six speed automatic transmission with an electronic overdrive along with  tow/haul model and tap up/tap down shifting are available on all 2011 Yukon models.

The new 2011 GMC Yukon offers strong brakes, great acceleration, and excellent noise reduction to provide a serene, comfortable driving experience for all drivers.

Safety features on the 2011 Yukon consist of: antilock brakes, side airbags in the front seat, head curtain airbags with a rollover sensor, an optional blind spot warning system, and also OnStar.
