DSI Biodiesel, LLC Among Founding Members of Global Biofuels Alliance

Nov. 9, 2010 - PRLog -- DSI Biodiesel, LLC a manufacturer and marketer of biodiesel processors and programs to municipal governments, is among the five founding members of the Global Biofuels Alliance, Inc. Wayne Aronson, DSI’s Director of Environmental Affairs, is on the board at the Global Biofuels Alliance and played an active role in launching the lobbying group dedicated to alternative fuels and energy independence for the U.S.

As part of the Global Biofuels Alliance, DSI will help raise awareness of, and advocate for, those issues that affect the biofuels market as a whole. Working to get an extension of the federal Biodiesel Blenders Tax Credit, for example, will be one of the first issues on the Global Biofuels Alliance’s agenda.

“As a founding member of the Global Biofuels Alliance, DSI Biodiesel looks forward to engaging with lawmakers, industry leaders and other Alliance members to further the interests of the biofuels market as a whole,” said Wayne Aronson. “We invite others in the industry, from producers and traders to manufacturers and consumers, to join us in this exciting and important new venture.”

The Global Biofuels Alliance is a membership organization offering a variety of benefits to its members. In addition to educational and training materials/opportunities, members will also have access to Tier 1 Health Effects testing data of biodiesel through an agreement with one of the founding members, Nextfuels, Inc.
