Nov. 9, 2010 - PRLog -- Why Renovation Pays? And why are renovations holding their value better than home prices today? When housing slows down, people stay put and renovate their house to make it more livable and functional.

And by renovating before selling, home owners get to enjoy the new and improved space themselves. The new kitchen will also attract more prospective buyers.

Recent renovations make buyers’ lives easier. Current home owners remodel their homes to provide a service to future buyers. When buyers consider purchasing a home, a common thing on their mind is the existing condition. Is it move in ready? How complete is each room and are the existing aesthetics appealing?

When sellers invest in enhancing their property, those detailed improvements will help close the sale in the end. If sellers don’t want to improve their property, buyers will tick off the repairs and try to negotiate for a lower offer.

Why not take advantage of the slow economy? Costs of labor, materials and time are very favorable lately. Today is a great day to redo your kitchen, bath or just spruce up your living space. A well connected designer keeps an eye out for sale promotion offered by many vendors.

Capable designers can work on varying budgets and  help owners avoid costly design mistakes. A key way to accomplish these savings is  with a timely scheduled project.
Finally, although the markets have gone through some adjustments, it’s still smart to invest in your home.
