Nov. 9, 2010 - PRLog -- Ryland Homes is celebrating the grand opening of two decorated model homes at Dancing Waters.

The grand opening celebration is being held Saturday, November 20 between 11 a.m. and 6 p.m. at the community, located on the north side of Valley Creek Road in Woodbury. Not only will the models be open to the public for the first time, refreshments will be on hand for visitors to enjoy.

Ryland Homes is debuting the Hopewell and Fremont townhome models at Dancing Waters. Base priced from $174,990 to $199,990, the townhomes boast 1,604 to 1,937 square feet of living space, three bedrooms and 2-1/2 baths. The urban rowhouse style places the attached two-car garages in the rear for attractive streetscapes. Three floor plans are available.

The intelligently designed Hopewell model features a spacious great room and half bath on the main level with a family room / hearth room adjacent to the kitchen. The kitchen is complete with a pantry plus large island, and it opens on to a cozy deck. The upper level consists of a master bedroom suite with private bath and walk-in closet, two additional bedrooms, and a second full bath. A two-car garage rounds out this 1,692-square-foot home.

The Fremont has 1,937 square feet of living space and is an end location, allowing for plenty of natural light. On the main floor, the great room opens to the dining room, creating the ideal entertaining space. Off to the side of the kitchen is the living / family room and off the back is the deck. Upstairs, the master suite has its own sitting area, adjoining private bath and walk-in closet. The two secondary bedrooms share a full bath.

All townhomes at Dancing Waters come with unfinished lower levels as standard. Those who would like to add extra living space can choose to finish the lower level. Several options such as a recreation room, den or study, and additional bath and bedroom are offered.

For buyers who want to move quickly, several townhomes at Dancing Waters will be ready for move-in during December of this year.

In addition to the townhomes, four village home plans are available from Ryland Homes at Dancing Waters. These designs have 1,381 to 1,995 square feet of space, two to four bedrooms, and 2-1/2 baths. Each home also includes an attached two-car garage and basement for base prices that start from $209,990 to $249,990. Although detached, these single-family homes also provide low-maintenance living.

One of the most impressive features of Dancing Waters is its Central Park, where volleyball and basketball courts, putting greens, a swimming pool, and splash station provide something for everyone. In all, more than 130 acres of this celebrated master planned community will be conserved as open space with wetlands, ponds, perennial gardens, woods, and trails.

The 450-acre community offers homeowners a convenient location east of the downtown metro area just off of Interstate 94. Employment centers along Interstate 494/694 are a short drive from Dancing Waters while shopping, dining and everyday conveniences are nearby. For recreation, the St.Croix river valley is about 15 minutes away as are Afton State Park, Lake Elmo Park Preserve and Ceridian Recreation Area. Adjacent to the community is Powers Lake, a popular spot for fishing.

Dancing Waters is located at St. John’s Drive and Valley Creek road in Woodbury.  To reach Ryland Homes’ models, take Interstate 94 to Woodbury Drive/County Road 19, exit south to Hudson Road and turn east, continue to Settlers Ridge Parkway/Cottage Grove and turn south, travel to Conifer Pass and turn east, continue to Sand Castle Drive and turn north to Sandcastle to the models.

The new models and sales center are open daily from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. For more information, call (612) 226-3636. Or, log on to www.Ryland.com and search Dancing Waters.
