Vyzion To Attend The 2nd Annual Radio One Media And Entertainment Convention

Nov. 8, 2010 - PRLog -- Raleigh, NC – On November 20, 2010, Team Vyzion will be attending the upcoming Media and Entertainment Convention (MEC). Vyzion Entertainment will have a booth promoting its artists and their material. This bonanza is hosted by the well-respected Radio One network at the Raleigh Convention Center. The three-level 500,000 ft.² Raleigh Convention Center is located at 500 S. Salisbury St., Raleigh, NC 27601.  This gala event will attract scores of entertainment enthusiasts and it begins at 11 AM and ends at 8 PM.
The MEC will provide a strategic point of social interaction with entertainment enthusiasts and business stanchions from their respective areas of expertise.  There will be inspiring seminars and networking sessions with some of the industries’ top actors, producers, movie directors, national recording artists, fashion designers, marketing professionals, theatre performers, entertainment lawyers, publicists, music producers, successful entrepreneurs, national selling authors, dancers, artists and representatives from companies such as: Radio One, Interactive One, TV One, BET, Universal Music, Atlantic Records, Jive Records,  Black Enterprise Magazine, The Source Magazine, RCA/Zomba, Zomba Music Group, Vyzion Entertainment, and other top businesses, media and entertainment companies.
The keynote speaker will be Mathew Knowles. He is the father of the international superstar and icon Beyoncé Knowles. Mr. Knowles is an established business powerhouse in the entertainment world. He is founder and owner of World Music Entertainment (WME) and works directly with the most powerful people in the music industry.  The WME label produced many artists such as Beyoncé Knowles, Michelle Williams, Kelly Rowland, Solange Knowles, Sunshine Anderson, Trin-i-tee 5:7, The Pastor Rudy Experience, and J. Xavier. Mr. Knowles will be sharing his background and the necessary tools to achieve any success that one may desire.
Other notables that are slated to attend the MEC event will be Def Jam recording artist Young Jeezy, multi-platinum producer Needlz, gospel artist James Fortune, and Atlanta based DJ Greg Street.
Additionally, there will be competitions in three different genres of music: hip-hop, gospel, and R&B. The winner of these competitions will be aided with editorial reviews, studio time from Cellamix Productions, and on-air interviews. These efforts will help to propel the aspiring artists’ career.
