Top Toys for Christmas 2010

Nov. 7, 2010 - PRLog -- For the 44th year the Toy Retailers has released their official predictions for the best selling toys for Christmas 2010 on October the 27th, 2010. Last year's prediction was as expected with 9 of the 12 toys picked in the Dream Toys list being number 1 or 2 in their respected toy class. Go Go Hamsters also known as Zhu Zhu Pets was 2009/2010 best seller, with many retailers running low on stock within weeks and left alot of parent and kids disappointed last Christmas.

The toy industry in the United Kingdom was worth £2.7 billion in 2009 and has seen an increase of 8.4%. Online sales of toys increased 23% in value in the first half of 2010. Toy Story is the number 1 property year to date August 2010 and ZhuZhu pets up to No.8. Zhu Zhu hamster assortment is the top selling item year to date August 2010, with Lego’s mini figures at No.8. Building Sets is the top growth category so far this year.
