Nov. 7, 2010 - PRLog -- Hollywood-Nashville-New York – (Billboard/Vocus ) Oklahoma country music star Tobi Gordon has risen to the national stage of country music with her latest hit single release “Grandma’s Love Recipe.”  The hottest new female artist in country music is humbled by her new found success nationally.  Tobi’s career got fast tracked in Oklahoma where so many great country artists have started,  including Garth Brooks.  But the Oklahoma country songbird has taken wings with the latest video & radio release from her album entitled, “Let’s Sing America.”

Tobi Gordon came to Nashville and recorded her first album with veteran hitmaker Robert Metzgar who produced the family oriented, deeply spiritual album.  Once the first single was chosen from focus group studies, the record label started their search for a video producer.  Mr. Metzgar told our editors, “We needed someone who felt the heartbeat of America.  We are grounded in real spiritual energy, family values and a sound similar to Alison Krauss in her early years.  So we needed a video team that had those special qualities in mind, “

Mr. Metzgar had previously won several awards at the major television networks in New York with Rod Thompson who was busy with a movie, a hit television series and commitments to various network shows he was working on. “I left a voice mail message with the famous television producer asking him to listen to a song,”  Metzgar said.  “Then, I sent him a copy of Grandma’s Love Recipe.  It’s all about the song here in Music City."

Mr. Metzgar heard back from Rod Thompson in a few days and Mr. Thompson was already drawing up a storyboard for the video.  Rod Thompson has produced over 300 award winning videos for major label artists in his long history of hits in Nashville.

The video was shot with a cast and crew of dedicated actors, actresses, & musicians on a beautiful farm located in rural Franklin, Tennessee.  "Grandma’s Love Recipe is a great uptempo positive feel good song about family, friends, and grandma.  It’s all about those big family dinners, the love of family values and the strength of country music."  When you watch this video, emotions sometimes get the best of you.  One young girl ( a runaway ) saw the video posted on YouTube and stopped that day to call her family. She returned home after seeing the very emotional story Tobi Gordon presents in the big hit song on television.  The young girl emailed to say that she had been joyfully reunited with her family after a long history of drug abuse, loneliness and despair.  “Those are the positive results we are looking for with this song and video, “ the producers told Entertainment Headline News.

The radio single was the “country breakout” record of the week ending November 5th in Billboard magazine.  Radio stations are adding the single record all over the nation and internationally the single is already at #1 in several European markets and climbing fast in Canada, Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific Rim.  The single was released to country radio in compilation this week with Toby Keith, Tim McGraw, Billy Currington, and  Craig Morgan on CDX Vol. 510 on ® Platinum Plus International Records.  Purchase the Tobi Gordon album "Let’s Sing America" at

Aristo Media ( is handling television promotion of the video release and both major networks, GAC & CMT licensed the video this week for airing on television stations that get their pure country shows on the weekends.  Although Mrs. Gordon is an evangelical and attends the Nazarene church in Oklahoma, one of the great things about this video and single was the response to the song in Vatican City.  The single has been playing on Italy’s adult contemporary radio stations and a Cardinal in the Catholic Church heard the song and sent an email asking for a copy of the single and video for the Pope’s iPod.  He had first observed the link to the video on Facebook.

To tell you the truth, the label thought it was a prank of some sort at first but after sending several emails and asking for the information again, the record label sent copies of the album, single and video to the Cardinal in Vatican City so that all the Cardinals could enjoy the song and video about family values.  The song has had a tremendous response from the Catholic laity across the world as radio has aired the single.  The song tells a great story about how precious a child’s life really is to those in spiritual families,  from Grandma to the smallest grandchild.  It’s amazing how supportive Catholic churches and the millions of Catholic families have been to this song. The video strongly supports the  pro-life family values stance of the church.  “Life is precious everywhere.  You can’t put a price on the beautiful lives of our children and families,” Tobi Gordon told our reporters.

Released this week in syndication to television stations across the United States, you can request the video on your local television station by calling and asking for it on Music Choice in the country music genre of your local cable station.  Cable network Comcast has already licensed the song for airplay.  The album and single are distributed by the world’s most significant digital distributor, The Orchard in New York City.  Country radio stations and Contemporary Christian stations alike are both playing the song that speaks to the importance of family togetherness in tough times.  An incredible universal song that means just as much in Japan, the Philippines, Europe, Canada or the United States,  this song perfectly expresses the tough economic times the nation has endured these past two years.

All of us have a grandmother and this is the song that pays tribute to the love that only a grandmother can share with her children.  To purchase a copy of the video or album simply go to or
