"ATTENTION NEW MEMBERS OF THIS PAGE: This is a major butthurt zone. A large number of fans on this page have a fake disease and will threaten you if you do not agree with their fairy tales. BEWARE"

Those are the words the owner of the fan page Fibromyalgia is Bullshi* on facebook has posted. That post is one of the "PG" ones that  can be published in this press release. The group owner also posts pictures of people with fibromyalgia, taunts them, and posts many other degrading posts towards those with the chronic pain condition called fibromyalgia. He believes that the 6 Million people that have fibromyalgia are just lazy and that it is a fake condition.

Jen Reynolds founder and creator of www.Fibrotv.com says, "I understand that people have freedom of speech in this country but to target a group of sick people is not just ethically wrong it is discriminatory. If I made a fan page that said  (Insert race here or sexual orientation) people are Bullshi* it would be taken down immediately. With all the news about cyber bullying you would think facebook would be quick to take ANY hate site down. it should not be tolerated"

Fibromyalgia, which has also been referred to as fibromyalgia syndrome, fibromyositis and fibrositis, is characterized by chronic widespread pain, multiple tender points, abnormal pain processing, sleep disturbances, fatigue and often psychological distress. For those with severe symptoms, fibromyalgia can be extremely debilitating and interfere with basic daily activities.Chronic widespread body pain is the primary symptom of fibromyalgia. Most people with fibromyalgia also experience moderate to extreme fatigue, sleep disturbances, sensitivity to touch, light, and sound, and cognitive difficulties.
