Palmer Packaging Presents La Celebracion: Cultures of Latin America

Nov. 2, 2010 - PRLog -- La Celebración is a festive event at once celebrating the close of the Latin American Bicentennial, a holiday shopping event and fundraiser for local non-profit Satori Phoenix Arts & Mass Media Organization (SPAMMO) and Literal Magazine. La Celebración takes place Wednesday November 10th at Palmer Packaging 4404 Richmond Ave. 5:30-9pm

La Celebración will feature select items for sale from the Cardinal Boutique, a specialty boutique, located in the heart of Houston that sells hand-crafted goods from Mexico and other Latin American countries. Ann Page's Virginia Thomas will showcase her exclusive line of gifts and stationary. Palmer Packaging will provide helpful holiday gift wrapping hints plus demonstrating creative and innovative ways to paper that special gift for that special someone.

Palmer Packaging's Nathan Rinard explains that, "This event is as much about promoting and supporting local non-profit causes that matter and folks with small businesses as it is about celebrating the Latin American Bicentennial." Folks should come out and enjoy great food from Armando's, knock back some margaritas, taste some new to market local tequilas, enjoy great live norteño music and partake in some fantastic shopping for a cause because all the proceeds from the purchases go directly to SPAMMO, a local arts non-profit & Literal Magazine. I just believe there is a syncretism between the worlds of non-profits and small businesses and we have got to support one another."
