The Launch Pad’s CEO Ilene Rosoff Named as Finalist for Stevie Award for Women in Business

Nov. 2, 2010 - PRLog -- For the second consecutive year, The Launch Pad founder and CEO, Ilene Rosoff was named a finalist for the 2010 Stevie Awards in the Best Entrepreneur – Service Businesses category.  The Stevie Award for Women in Business honors women executives, entrepreneurs, and the companies they run – worldwide.  The Stevie Awards have been hailed as the world’s premier business awards.

Finalists were chosen by business professionals worldwide during preliminary judging. Members of the Awards' Board of Distinguished Judges & Advisors and their staff will select Stevie Award winners from among the Finalists during final judging. More than 1,200 entries – a record for the competition - were submitted this year for consideration in 54 categories.

“I feel incredibly fortunate and greatly honored to be part of a community of vibrant women who are fierce and focused, complex and brilliant and who have devoted themselves to the pursuit of building good business, good organizations and good community,” says Rosoff.

Rosoff earned a place as a finalist for her outstanding leadership as CEO of one of the premier small business IT services companies in the country.  Her pioneering vision coupled with her commitment to her community has led to the development of innovative programs including The Launch Pad’s GreenBack™ Community Outreach Program for non-profit organizations.  Tampa area non-profit organizations in need can sign up to receive donations of gently used technology equipment provided by local businesses, free of charge.  The Launch Pad also provides a Quarterly Technology Grant Review to help nonprofit organizations identify sources for technology funding.

The 7th Annual Stevie Awards for Women in Business gala event will take place at the Marriott Marquis hotel in New York on Friday, November 12.  Nominated women executives and entrepreneurs from the U.S.A and several other countries are expected to attend.   The presentations will be broadcast live on radio in the U.S.A. by the Business TalkRadio Network.
