Halloween Carnival 2010 in Vista CA - FREE Safe Trick or Treating Alternative | Harvest Festival

Oct. 30, 2010 - PRLog -- The 2010 Trick or Treat Alternative Carnival at Life Christian Church in Vista is being held on October 30th, 2010 from 3 PM – 7 PM. The theme of this year’s carnival is Wild Wild West.

The harvest carnival is free and open to the public. The event offers fun for children of all ages. No registration required to attend this save alternative to Trick or Treating.

The Wild, Wild West themed Harvest Festival is a fun and safe Halloween alternative for kids and families. The entire event is FREE (except food and drink items) and is a great recession-busting event. This event is open to the public and is sponsored by Life Christian Church. Life Christian Church is located at 1132 North Melrose Drive, Vista, CA 92083.

The free harvest carnival’s schedule is:
From 3 PM - 5 PM the event is focusing on the younger kids with a focus on family interaction.
•   We will have make and race your own Hobby Horse
•   Pumpkin Launching (Yes that means you get to TOSS a Pumpkin)
•   Costume Contest
•   Apple Dunking
•   Face Painting
•   Sing-a-long Hay Rides
….and much much more!

While the focus from 3 PM - 5 PM is families, it doesn't mean that the fun stops at 5 PM.  From 5 PM - 7 PM the event is geared for children of all ages
•   Free candy- passed out at the game booths
•   Pony Rides
•   Sing-a-long Hay Rides
•   Jumpers
•   Petting Zoo
•   General Store will be open for purchasing old style grub and scrumptious goodies
•   Music and Live entertainment
