Celebrity Chef Author Ani Phyo Brings Molecular Raw Cuisine To Test Kitchen In Los Angeles

Oct. 29, 2010 - PRLog -- October 20, 2010, Hollywood CA; Living foods chef and acclaimed author Ani Phyo (Ani’s Raw Food Essentials) announced today she will be celebrity guest chef at pop up restaurant Test Kitchen November 17th and 18th 2010. “The dishes are going to totally inspire your mind,” says Ms. Phyo. Expect to see some of Hollywoods vegan celebrities and curious foodies, along with Ani’s loyal fans who include John Salley, Carrie Anne Moss, Moby, Frances Fisher, and Top Chef contestant Alex Reznik.

Featuring a menu with Ani Phyo classics, Ani will also be creating dishes using inspired techniques used in molecular cooking without the chemicals. “I was surprised to find similarities in molecular and raw food techniques,” she says. Titled “Gastrawnomique”, the two nights will be the first of it's kind in the world in a fusion of healthy vegan cuisine with a molecular twist. Many of Ani Phyo recipe’s like burger’s and dumplings are seen on popular raw menu’s today. “Im hoping to push boundaries and experiment with the next level in the science of fine dining and living foods,” Ms. Phyo states.

Ani will not be heating any dishes above 105 degrees and will be including local fresh ingredients from community farmers. Wine pairing will be available along with her collaboration on “Rawktails” with some of Test Kitchen’s famous mixologists.
