WD-40 and Ford, two well-known companies in the automotive industry have partnered together to debut the 2011 WD-40/SEMA Cares Mustang at the SEMA Show in Las Vegas, NV on Nov 2-5, 2010.

Nov. 3, 2010 - PRLog -- After debuting at the SEMA Show, the WD-40/SEMA Cares Mustang will be auctioned off at the Barrett-Jackson Classic Car Show and Auction Jan 17-23 in Scottsdale, AZ. The proceeds from the sales of the vehicle will go Childhelp®, an organization that provides services to abused and neglected children, and the Victory Junction Gang® Camp, which provides life changing camping experiences to special needs and chronically ill children.

This vehicle started out as a stock 2011 Ford Mustang GT with a 5.0 liter V8 engine. It has been transformed into a state of the art machine, with a Paxton supercharger, it boasts to produce around 600 horsepower. It is painted in the familiar yellow and blue WD-40 colors, giving it a distinguishing look.

WD-40 and SEMA Cares has teamed up with several automotive after-market and technology companies: California Pony Cars Advanced Clutch Technology, Inc.; Audio Innovations; Cie Games; GTR High Performance; Hotchkis Suspension; Katzkin Leather; L&G Enterprises; Nitto;  PPG Industries; PhotoTouch and Polk Audio have donated parts and services to give this Mustang the very unique WD-40 look.
