“Brooklyn-born Steven Zumbo begins his delightful cabaret act at Don’t Tell Mama with a very personable smile and accomplished singing of “I Got Rhythm.”  Accompanied on the piano and in song by musical director Gerry Dieffenbach, this opening sets a great mood for the evening.

Zumbo’s flexible, glorious voice and ready smile provide an overall relaxed and fun feeling to the show. With careful phrasing, his voice projects various colors and moods, occasionally reminiscent of a '50s crooner.
