Mobile Devices to speak at the 2010 Telematics Munich conference

Oct. 28, 2010 - PRLog -- Paris-- (Business Wire) – Mobile Devices the leading Open Telematics OS and connected solution provider, today announced that his VP of Sales and Marketing, Cyril Zeller will animate a workshop explaining how to fulfil the promises of the in-car application marketplace at the Telematics Munich conference being held on the 3-4th of November.

Mobile Devices is best placed to gather evidences of key industry trends as the company is dealing with the entire ecosystem. Zeller will discuss the feedback from a customer survey of Telematics Integrators that was done in Summer 2010.

Key to the findings were the need for connected applications in the navigation fields and the rapid increase in the variety of applications sharing the same devices in the B2B telematics sector.
Based on these observations, Zeller will demonstrate the need for an Open Telematics OS and look at the options available in the industry today.

To illustrate the role of the Open Telematics OS in generating new revenue streams for the service providers, the workshop will invite Vincent Peña, Vice President International Business Development, Coyote Systems to discuss why Coyote decided to launch a connected PND.

Zeller’s workshop is entitled: In-car Market Place today: benefit from an open Telematics OS to reach both business and consumers markets. It will look at:

•   Who will lose out when all telematics services are developed for open OS
•   Telematics Market Place and Open OS in the real world: case studies and real user feedback
Cyril Zeller, has a Master of Science in Marketing, he started its career in the Bolloré group. After he undertook different missions in auditing and business management he moved to the sector of bartering in companies such as T.E.C. or Barterfina where he was Managing Director.
