Digestive vitality presentation for practitioners to be held in November

Oct. 26, 2010 - PRLog -- This Restoring Digestive Vitality: Restoring the Root of Chronic Disease seminar will be presented by naturopathic physician Dr. Jeremy Appleton in the coming weeks.  Naturopathic physicians can earn two continuing education credits for attending one of these live dinner seminars.

A core naturopathic tenet is that health of the gut is at the core of whole-body health.  Aging reduces enzyme output, stomach acid production and bile secretion, alters microflora balance and reduces peristalsis. As a result, many patients use over-the-counter products that may temporarily resolve digestive discomforts, but do nothing to address the underlying concerns.
