The amount raised at the October 9, 2010 event was $9,689.38, according to Executive Director Pam Miller. “The theme of this year’s auction – Your Treasures, Their Hope” really hit home with a lot of our supporters this year,” said Miller. “We’ Hundreds of auction items were donated from individuals and businesses throughout the state. The event was sponsored by Raleigh Auction and Estate Sales, auctioneer Cheri Faux, Carolina Portable Storage and Sir Speedy of Greensboro. “We still consider our event a tremendous success! My thanks go out to the many, many people who came to browse, bid high and buy our treasures. One-hundred percent of the proceeds from this auction benefit the cats and kittens in our community, whether it is through adoption services or our low-cost spay/neuter clinic. We also need to thank our donors and volunteers – without their generosity and support, our auction would never have taken place,” said Miller.
