We are proud to feature the Covalt/Geffen project where Covalt was called in to smooth and level the uneven concrete sub floors in order to accommodate the magnificent sculptures of world renowned artist, Richard Serra.

Often times interior concrete floors are in need of  cement resurfacing when installing new fixtures or flooring. Covalt, a company with a successful history of over 28 years specializes in just this type of concrete repair throughout Southern California. The repair process consists of the application of a self leveling concrete topping compound. This product  can be installed from a feather edge to any thickness in order to smooth and flatten  the sub surface. Once complete the new slab is now ready for floor coverings, such as hardwood flooring, tile, carpet and the like. The Covalt system is ideal when time is of the essence, in that the application and dry time of the cement resurfacing material is less than 24 hours, which was a concern on this very project.
