Oct. 22, 2010 - PRLog -- Ormond Beach, Florida.  Sunrise Aviation, a flight school at the Ormond Beach Municipal Airport in Florida, announced today that they will attend the EATS 2010 conference in Istanbul on November 9th and 10th.   EATS is the European Airline Training Symposium and will be held at the WOW Airport Hotel in Istanbul.  EATS focuses on European expertise in aviation flight training and simulation and the theme of this year’s event is “A New Era in European Aviation Training.”   EATS 2010 will also highlight Turkey’s unique aviation training sector.   EATS provides a uniquely European perspective on civil aviation training.

Sunrise Aviation has graduated several students from Turkey and will be introducing an innovative course that provides students with both FAA CPL certification and an EASA (JAA) frozen ATPL.  For students interested in a career as an airline pilot, this combination of the practical flight experience in the USA with the JAA theory exams and conversion in Turkey is the perfect preparation for serious Turkish pilot cadets.  Hiring for airline pilots in Turkey is projected to remain strong for many years as the airlines there continue to expand and purchase aircraft.

One of Sunrise Aviation’s graduates, Sergun Ozmen, is now helping to represent Sunrise Aviation in Turkey.  Sergun is also a first officer with an airline in Turkey.  Sergun will attend the EATS conference and is available to talk to future pilots.  Sergun can be reached in the following ways:
•   Email:  sergunozmen@gmail.com
•   Website: www.rabbitlights-aviation.org
•   Telephone: +90-5323741599
Captain Ozmen now has an office in Istanbul, Turkey and can meet prospective students there.

Sunrise Aviation will also be organizing a separate seminar for students interested in pilot training during the week of the EATS event.  Look for a future announcement of the date and location.  This event will be free and open to potential students and their parents.

Recently, Sunrise Aviation was featured in an article published on a website in Turkey.  Students interested in reading about Sunrise Aviation in Turkish might find an article at www.airporthaber.com interesting.  It is in Turkish making it easier for those with weaker English skills to read.  Some potential flight students in Turkey and elsewhere who need additional help in English may not realize that Sunrise Aviation works with several English schools in Orlando, Florida that can admit these students and solve the problem in as little as three to six months at a surprisingly low cost.  Students may then transfer directly and easily to the flight training program at Sunrise Aviation.  Sunrise Aviation provides additional help for these students in Aviation English when they join the flight school in Ormond Beach.

Sunrise Aviation, Inc. has several Professional Pilot courses designed for international students seeking airline pilot careers.  Today, students from as far away as Eastern Europe, Western Europe, the Middle East, and Asia in addition to Turkey come to Sunrise Aviation to become commercial pilots.

Sunrise Aviation owns more than 40 aircraft utilized for rental and flight training.  The newest addition to Sunrise Aviation’s fleet is the Cessna 172 SP Nav III with Garmin G-1000 (glass-cockpit) avionics.

Sunrise Aviation was founded in 1983.  They also provide maintenance, parts, flight training, fuel and additional services to local and transient pilots and aircraft owners at Ormond Beach Municipal Airport in Florida.
