Is Emerald Who's Who a Scam, Really?

Oct. 22, 2010 - PRLog -- (Press Release) – October 22, 2010 – This announcement is to make the public aware that Emerald Who’s Who for Executives and Professionals, Inc. is being slandered on the Internet with allegations claiming they are a fraud and a scam. It is important to understand that these claims are unsubstantiated and hold no value as clients and members alike have never had any defamatory words to say to the organization.

It is worth noting that like any competitive industry rival organizations will do and say anything by using the internet as a tool to defame and damage the reputation of other organizations.  Please do not let this be a cause of alarm. Emerald wants to assure all members that the foundation the business is built on a solid base of high ethical and moral standards.  With that being said Emerald Who’s Who has no control over false and misleading accusations on the internet. The company would like to set the record straight and explain the differences between themselves and other organizations currently using the Who’s Who name:

-We are NOT affiliated with any other Who’s Who organization
-While Emerald Who’s Who may share the “Who’s Who” name with other entities, Emerald does not conduct business as some other organizations have been accused of; “fraudulent, scam artists”
-There have been articles written about the “Who’s Who” and Emerald is unfortunately included simply because of our name
-No matter what you have read on the internet there are no complaints from existing member base, or individuals who have actually used the services we provide. All these accusations are based on phone calls but not actual members

Also, please be aware that private blogs and websites such as Scam.com are in no way any kind of authority of judging or rating a company. They are merely websites where anyone can create a fictitious account and basically post unsubstantiated claims and/or slander about whomever they want while disguising their identity. This open forum is an excellent tool for consumers who have been burned and should speak out, but again should prove their case first. In addition, you will notice, that of the few posts, they were from the same individuals who also slandered other Who’s Who branded companies. We have contacted Scam.com to remove these false and unsubstantiated posts, however they have refused. Again, all of these claims are made by individuals who are not members of Emerald Who’s Who.

Emerald Who’s Who for Executives and Professionals, Inc. is an elite “private” social networking tool and organization for likeminded professionals globally. Its goal is to promote effective professional networking both online and through a live human networking department, along with networking education and branding of the executive and/or professional. The privacy of Emerald Who’s Who allow its members to be able to speak freely and open up the communication channels easier than from a broad based organization that “anyone” can “join”

One of the methods of finding such professionals is via email where the Research Staff at Emerald Who’s Who scours the Internet, Trade Journals and Public Data records to find such individuals with distinction. In addition Emerald Who’s Who works with several media partners who have such information or help in obtaining this information.

Each member is hand selected and must be interviewed in order to become a member. We take great pride in keeping our members away from telemarketers and other sales type organizations in order to keep their identities and daily lives secure.

For instance, would you stop going to the Doctor if one Doctor did not service you well? Would you rule out the entire medical community? We feel we are being targeted that way as well.
