The “Pilates, Chill & More Retreats” are based at a charming guesthouse with Pilates studio in Betty’s Bay, an unspoilt seaside holiday getaway off the beaten track just one hour from Cape Town. With sea and mountains on the doorstep there is plenty of time to enjoy other optional activities on offer, including surfing, hiking, kayaking, biking and cultural trips to Cape Town, the Stellenbosch wine region and other highlights of the Western Cape. Ideal for solo travellers or for small groups of friends to enjoy together, the goal is for each guest to leave physically and mentally invigorated, and with a set of new friends.

Led by top Steve Jordan, guests can hit it hard with the specially developed method “Steve Jordan Pilates”, working through a series of integrative sessions on mat and machines towards injury and posture correction, core strength training, flexibility, balance, uniform development and efficient movement patterns - all hallmarks that are highly relevant to general fitness. Steve Jordan Pilates is a particularly challenging form of dynamic Pilates and real change can be achieved in as little as three classes. Each guest receives an individual health assessment on arrival and a high degree of personal care and attention throughout their stay, as well as practical and workable coaching on how to manage diet, exercise and life-balance in the long term.

Breakfasts are something to look forward to, with a delicious, balanced menu of healthy, freshly prepared dishes designed to detox and purify the body.
