Hackett London Expands Network of Designer Menswear Stores with New Openings

Oct. 22, 2010 - PRLog -- British Designer menswear (http://www.hackett.com) brand Hackett London has been experiencing a period of expansion of late, with the opening of a number of new stores in the UK and Switzerland. In London, the menswear designer has opened new stores in Canary Wharf and Heathrow Airport and in Switzerland, a store in Zurich, its first in the German speaking part the country.

An eclectic mix of artwork lines the walls throughout the store including old bespoke suit patterns, complete with customers’ names and details still scribbled on them. Umbrella shaped door handles have been moulded from an original Hackett umbrella (http://www.hackett.com/index.cfm?page=1570) and reflect the iconic Hackett Mayfair logo of the bowler hat and crossed umbrellas.

Having opened a store in Geneva two years ago, Hackett London has now opened its first store in the German speaking part of Switzerland - in Zurich, located at Paradeplatz 4. The store is divided over two floors and has been created with a residential feel. A particular highlight is the men's suiting rooms which have been furnished with a small bar and lounge area to provide a gentleman’s club environment, where customers can have a drink whilst they peruse the collections or simply relax between fittings.

Passengers at Heathrow were invited to enjoy complimentary glasses of champagne to celebrate the return of Hackett London to the airport’s Terminal 4. The new store offers a selection from Hackett’s menswear and kidsswear collections as well as a wide range of accessories including ties, cufflinks and small leather goods.
