Participate in the 5th European Solar Thermal Energy Conference(ESTEC 2011) submit your abstract NOW
The European Solar Thermal Energy Conference to be held in Marseille on 20/21 October 2011 presents the ideal opportunity for the solar thermal industry players to address together the issues facing the sector to return to a significant growth path.
The call for abstracts launched for the 5th European Solar Thermal Energy Conference is aimed at in-depth analyses of the most promising market segments and proposals on cost reductions for solar thermal systems. Through concrete examples, from energy performance of buildings to the integration of renewable systems, the key objective is to forge a successful collaboration between the solar thermal industry, architects and the construction sector. As ESTEC 2011 is taking place in Marseille, there will be a strong focus on markets in southern Europe and the Mediterranean southern shores.
For the first time, ESTEC 2011 will be held in France, a country that offers a particularly favourable climate to solar thermal through the Multi-Year Investment Programme for renewables and the new 2012 thermal regulations. In addition, the national approach to certification of installers provides the right framework for a sustained market growth.
The 5th European Solar Thermal Energy Conference – ESTEC 2011 - is organized by the European Solar Thermal Industry Federation (ESTIF) and ENERPLAN with the support of ADEME. Over two days in 2009, more than 400 participants from 43 different countries attended ESTEC in Munich (Germany).
Solar thermal stakeholders are invited to submit abstracts online on the conference website: www.estec2011.org. The deadline is February 7, 2011.
ESTIF, the European Solar Thermal Industry Federation
ESTIF is the voice of the solar thermal industry, actively promoting the use of solar thermal technology for renewable heating and cooling in Europe. With around 100 members from 19 European countries, ESTIF represents the entire supply chain.
ENERPLAN, the French Trade Association for Solar Energy
ENERPLAN represents the interests of the entire solar energy sector in France (manufacturers, designers, consultants, installers, architects, energy specialists, etc.).
Its mission: Encourage the promotion and development of solar energy.
Its strategy: Represent stakeholders in the solar industry, stimulate and shape the sector, develop applications.
