Bruce S. Lemkin Joins Board Of Directors – Military Parts Exchange LLC (MPX)

Fort Lauderdale, FL – October 12, 2010 – Bruce S. Lemkin, former Deputy Under Secretary of the U.S. Air Force (International Affairs), has recently announced that effective October 1, 2010 he has joined the Board of Directors of Military Parts Exchange (MPX).  

While serving as Deputy Under Secretary of the Air Force, from 2003-2010, Mr. Lemkin provided oversight and guidance for international policy and programs supporting national security objectives through politico-military affairs, security assistance programs, technology and information disclosure, education and training, cooperative research and development and attaché affairs. A graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy, Mr. Lemkin served in numerous Pentagon assignments and in six nuclear submarines, including command of a nuclear attack and a ballistic missile submarine.  He has received numerous high-level awards from the U.S. and foreign governments.

Mr. Lemkin indicated that he is extremely impressed with MPX’s existing business model and potential for growth. “In my seven years of leading the U.S. Air Force’s efforts to build strong relationships and interoperable capabilities with partner nations, it has been clear to me that one of the greatest challenges is in sustaining legacy military aircraft in a cost effective manner. I have decided to join MPX’s Board of Directors because I firmly believe the company’s business model can assist many countries in sustainment of legacy aircraft,” explains Lemkin.
