Vail Dermatology Announces Grand Opening of New Office in Basalt, Colorado

Oct. 20, 2010 - PRLog -- Vail Dermatology announced today the official grand opening of their new dermatology office in Basalt, Colorado. Located at 711 East Valley Road, the new office is open Monday- Thursday. Doctors Karen Nern, Jean Urquhart, and Halliday McDonald, and PA-C Sarah Youngblood all treat patients throughout the week.

The decision to open the new office in Basalt came after the demand for a Vail Dermatology in the Aspen and Roaring Fork Valley was recognized. Other locations considered, and still a possibility, included Summit County and within Vail and Beaver Creek. Opened to better serve Roaring Fork Valley local patients, the new location offers more convenience, a wide array of treatments, and more doctor availability without the longer drive to Edwards, Colorado while still upholding the value and expertise behind the Vail Dermatology name. “We decided to keep the name Vail Dermatology so that there would be no confusion as to who the doctors are that are traveling to Basalt,” stated Dr. Nern.
