University of Oklahoma Launches Facebook Store with Milyoni
University of Oklahoma Athletics Department on Tue became the 1st college athletics program to launch its own social commerce app. Sooner fans can now browse official OU merchandise, share with friends & support the program without leaving Facebook
More than 169,000 fans follow the Sooners on Facebook -- the world's No. 1 online destination. Oklahoma is breaking new ground by taking its social media initiatives to the next level and introducing social commerce.
"This is a new and unique service for our fans inside Facebook," said Jason Matheson, director of internet services for OU Athletics. "They can support the Sooners while sharing their experience with friends and family."
The application, created in cooperation with Milyoni and Team Fan Shop, is available via the official Facebook page of the Sooners at http://www.Facebook.com/
