Equus Pricing Has Been Annouced

Oct. 19, 2010 - PRLog -- Well it has been announced. The price tag for the 2011 Equus is as we expected. Hyundai announced the Equus will be offered in two configurations in the U.S., the Equus Signature and the Equus Ultimate. For the Equus Signature prices will start at $58,000 with the Equus Ultimate beginning at $64,000.

The Equus is Hyundai’s flagship luxury sedan bringing a new era to the Hyundai lineup. Combined with high-tech styling, engineering and comfort, Hyundai has high hopes for the Equus in the U.S.  In the past few years, the Equus has been very popular in Korea.

“When you’re spending this much for a new car, you don’t want to feel like you’ve been shortchanged on engineering, technology or features,” said John Krafcik, Hyundai Motor America president and CEO. “Equus Signature has the technology and content of fully-optioned flagship models from Lexus and BMW, while Equus Ultimate delivers a specification approached only by our competitors’ low-volume, special-order models.”

The Equus is much more than just a car. The Equus is built on Hyundai’s world-class rear-wheel-drive architecture and is powered by the award-winning 4.6-liter Tau® V8. The Tau will produce an estimated 385 horsepower using premium fuel and 379 horsepower using regular fuel.
