Trimark Sportswear Group Reaches New Heights in the Logo’d Apparel Business with Olympic License

Trimark Sportswear Group’s selection as the Activewear Licensee for the Vancouver 2010 Olympic and ParaOlympic Winter Games has taught the Company how to create new distribution channels.

Oct. 18, 2010 - PRLog -- (San Diego, CA) – Trimark Sportswear Group’s selection as the Activewear Licensee for the Vancouver 2010 Olympic and ParaOlympic Winter Games has taught the Company how to utilize capabilities on the products design, shipping and fulfillment side to create new distribution channels. As a result of The Olympics, Trimark Sportswear Group generated 600 new accounts and increased revenues.

“That deal put us on a different growth curve,” said Will Andrew, Vice President of Marketing and Business Development and Chief Operating Officer. “It added licensing to our repertoire, which we had never done before. Basically, 2005 saw a lot of organic growth and licensing brought us into 2010. That’s where we are today. We just signed a new license deal, but unfortunately I can’t divulge the name right now. It’s very fresh.”

Trimark Sportswear Group will take the knowledge it acquired during the Olympics and use it benefit it core manufacturing capabilities. Trimark Sportswear Group will continue to focus on core business to promotional distributers in Canada. The Company is adding capabilities to its operations and recently moved into a new facility, trying to maximize all efficiencies.

Privately-held Trimark Sportswear Group celebrates its 35th anniversary in 2010 and seeks added licensee growth to supplement its very successful logo’d apparel line that includes the ONTOUR , Landmark, Nexus Apparel, Outer Boundary and Elevate Sport brands.
