Akraya Named #31 Fastest-Growing Private Company by The Silicon Valley Business Journal

Oct. 18, 2010 - PRLog -- This is Akraya’s second year in a row to be featured among the Silicon Valley’s Fastest-Growing Private Companies List. This year, Akraya was among the 60 private companies honored at the Business Journal's "Fastest-Growing Private Companies in Silicon Valley" Award Gala at the Computer History Museum in Mountain View, CA on Thursday, October 14, 2010. Akraya CEO, Amar Panchal as well as the Akraya team were in attendance to accept the award.

The List of The Fastest-Growing Private Companies is compiled annually by The Silicon Valley Business Journal. To be eligible, each company must be privately held as of fiscal year-end 2009, headquartered in Silicon Valley and have at least a three-year sales history. Final selection was based on revenue growth. Akraya reported more than 74% revenue growth over the past 3 years.

Akraya was founded by CEO, Amar Panchal and President, Sonu Ratra in 2001. Having worked in the IT staffing industry for years, the founders clearly saw a gap in what IT Managers wanted and what other agencies provided.
