Leopard Print Is A Roaring Success!

Oct. 18, 2010 - PRLog -- A survey by online hosiery retailer  Tights Please discovered that this seasons’ catwalk trend for wearing leopard print clothes is a roaring success. 64% voted leopard print fabulous, regardless of the season, saying they believe it never goes out of style.

Customers have voted with their feet and sales of animal print tights and hold-ups have increased dramatically as celebrities such as Rihanna, Pixie Lott, Kelly Rowland, Rochelle and Fearne have been sported wearing accessories and clothes in the “purrrrrfect” print.

“Last year sales of leopard print tights were out-numbered by Charnos Mini spot tights which were a top seller, but this year with the choice of high priced Wolford Leo tights at £32 , Cette Leopard Print tights at £15.49 and Jonathan Aston tights at £7.99 a pair there’s a pair to suit all budgets and pockets and they are selling well.” said Charles Duncombe Director of Tightsplease.co.uk .

When asked how much leopard print you should wear in one go.... a stylish pair of tights came out tops in our survey as customers didn’t want to over-do it, with reference to Coronation Street’s favourite barmaid of the 80’s Bet Lynch.

63% of those questioned said wearing leopard print made them feel strong and attractive to the opposite sex and when asked what a woman would think of a woman in leopard print 63.6% thought they would be a confident and daring person, 64% surprisingly thought that men would think the same! The trend for neon or brightly coloured leopard print was considered a turn off, with 80% preferring to “copy-cat” the real thing!
