Follow on Google News | Teneo delivers a year of record sales growthTeneo, a leading infrastructure optimisation specialist, has beaten the downturn with a record year of growth for the company to report a 42 per cent increase in sales to £13.4 million for its financial year ended 30th June 2010.
By: Simon Bennett, Agility PR Ltd Despite a difficult economic backdrop, Teneo has reported a year of record sales growth and increased sales by 42%, breaking through its sales targets for the year. It is also celebrating a year of success for its first company acquisition - network and security management solutions provider iSimile, which it purchased in July 2009. Teneo’s acquisition and successful integration of iSimile into its business generated around half of the sales growth during the year, with organic growth across its UK and US operations accounting for the remaining half. Teneo has also recruited consistently throughout the downturn and has increased employee numbers by 73%, from 25 employees in June 2009 to 45 employees currently. In recognition of the growth Teneo ran a company-wide ‘kick-off’ Teneo celebrated its tenth year in February 2010 and since its formation it has developed an enviable track record in delivering infrastructure optimisation solutions, with over 1000 customers including 200 Riverbed customers with over 1,500 deployed units in the field and under maintenance. It has a network of partners which enables Teneo to roll-out and service projects across 120 countries. The company was named as the UK’s first Riverbed Diamond partner last year and in June 2010 it became one of a handful of Riverbed partners to join the Riverbed Authorised Service Partner (RASP) programme, allowing Teneo to build closer relationships with its clients and provide high-value services and support that its clients can leverage to get the full benefit of their Riverbed WAN optimisation deployments.
