Utopia, Inc. to Present on Data Governance at the 2010 SAP TechEd

Oct. 18, 2010 - PRLog -- Utopia, Inc., a global leader in enterprise data lifecycle management (EDLM) solutions, today announced that it will present “Implementing Real-Time Data Governance” at the 2010 SAP TechEd conference in Las Vegas, Nevada, October 19, 2010 at The Venetian/Palazzo Congress Center.

For the presentation Venkat Chaganti, MDM practice lead at Utopia, Inc., will explain how data governance principals are abstract until the corporate manager can implement those practices into the data management operations. Attendees will learn how data governance principals can be integrated in a data entry workflow. This will be done by showing them an example of an implementation, along with the creation of material master data using the SAP Portal.  Furthermore, it will show how data governance can direct, in real-time, using the SAP® BusinessObjects™ Data Services platform to cleanse, standardize, and identify duplicates. The result of the workflow is then presented and approved for syndication into MDM or ECC. Embedded in this example workflow are the policies and processes dictated by a data governance program, and enacted upon in real-time.
