Southern Homes Continues School Spirit Program with $500 Donation to Socrum Elementary

Oct. 15, 2010 - PRLog -- Southern Homes continues its 2010 School Spirit program with a donation to Socrum Elementary in honor of teacher Ryan DeVoe.

For every Southern Homes home purchased in 2010 by a Polk County teacher, a $500 donation is made to their respective school. The School Spirit program was created as an additional way for Southern Homes to contribute to the Polk County education system.

“Teachers are an integral part of the community in which we live,” said Jared Weggeland, Director of Sales and Marketing of Southern Homes. “It is our pleasure to be able to contribute to the education process and give back to the Polk County area.”

Socrum Elementary Physical Education teacher Ryan DeVoe recently received the $500 donation check for his new home purchase from Southern Homes. DeVoe is one of many teachers to take advantage of the 2010 School Spirit program and receive a donation for their school.
