Conor and the Crossworlds Author Kevin Gerard Planning Donut Eating Promotion Trip

Oct. 13, 2010 - PRLog -- This could be the craziest promotion idea yet. Kevin Gerard  has given himself a titanic task.

"What if I told you I was going to drive from San Diego to Pismo Beach with one basic rule for the trip - every time I see a donut shop I have to stop, buy a donut, and eat it. The catch is that I can't travel on major highways, and you know how many donut shops there are on surface streets. And, by the way, donut holes don't count."

The entire trip will be videotaped by a Crying Cougar Press intern, and every day new videos will be posted on youtube for Gerard's followers.

"I guess by the time I pass Santa Monica I might see at least a hundred donut shops," says Mr. Gerard. "This could turn into a great time eating sweets or the goof of the century on a scale close to 'Super Size Me'."
