Mopar Economy Batteries:

Any Mopar Economy Battery found to be defective in materials or workmanship will be replaced at no charge within 6 months

from the date of purchase. No prorated allowance is available. This warranty is extended to the original battery purchaser only

by DaimlerChrysler Motors Company, LLC.

Mopar 60 and 72 Series Batteries:

Mopar 60 series or Mopar 72 series battery found to be defective in materials or workmanship will be replaced at no charge within

18 months from the date of purchase. After the initial 18 months, the owner will receive a prorated allowance toward the purchase of a

new Mopar replacement battery for the 60 months from date of purchase (60 Series) or for 72 months from date of purchase (72 Series),

prorated on a monthly basis. This warranty is extended to the original battery purchaser only by DaimlerChrysler Motors Company, LLC.

Mopar 84 Series Batteries:

Any Mopar 84 series battery found to be defective in materials or workmanship will be replaced at no charge for 24 months from

the date of purchase. After the initial 24 months, the owner will receive a prorated allowance toward the purchase of a new Mopar

replacement battery for the 84 months from date of purchase. The allowance is based on the suggested retail price of the replacement

battery at time of replacement, and the number of months remaining in the proration period. This warranty is extended to the original

battery purchaser only by DaimlerChrysler Motors Company, LLC.

What is Covered – All Batteries:

The prorated amount will be computed by dividing the suggested retail price of the battery at the time of replacement by the

number of months covered under the battery’s limited warranty period. This calculation will provide a monthly proration factor. Then

multiply the monthly proration factor by the number of “in-service” months to determine the pro rata amount paid by the customer. To

calculate the number of “in-service” months, subtract the number of months since the date the battery was purchased (as shown by

the date on the customer repair order or parts counter ticket) from the number of months of limited warranty coverage provided by

the battery.

Mopar replacement batteries installed in a Chrysler, Dodge, or Jeep vehicle covered by the New Vehicle Limited Warranty

(“Basic Warranty”) that are found to be defective in materials, are warranted for the remainder of the New Vehicle Limited Warranty,

or for 6 or 18 or 24 months, depending on the type battery as stated above (whichever is more favorable to the customer). A battery

that fails under the New Vehicle Limited Warranty will be replaced with a Mopar battery of an equal or next highest amp-hour rating.

HOW TO OBTAIN MOPAR WARRANTY SERVICE

Replacement of the battery will be done by presenting the battery, together with the dealer service order or parts counter ticket

for the original purchase, to any authorized Chrysler, Dodge, or Jeep dealer. If the replaced battery was installed in the vehicle by a

Chrysler, Dodge, or Jeep dealer, and the battery is within the no charge replacement period, both the replacement battery and the

labor needed to install it are covered. If the replaced battery was not installed in the vehicle by a Chrysler, Dodge, or Jeep dealer,

and the battery is within the no charge replacement period, only the replacement battery is covered; the labor needed to install it is

not covered. It is recommended that you take your Chrysler, Dodge, or Jeep vehicle to your selling dealer or to the dealer who sold

or installed your Mopar battery. However, you may obtain replacement parts or service under warranty from any authorized Chrysler,

Dodge, or Jeep dealer. Except in an emergency, warranty service for Mopar Parts and Accessories may be obtained ONLY at an

authorized Chrysler, Dodge, or Jeep dealer.
