Dedicated international student support We have an award-winning dedicated support team for international students, weekly English language support and offer flexible study methods. These services start before students even get here. We offer: * pre-arrival advice and information * airport pick-up service * meet and greet * orientation programme on arrival The Sheffield Hallam international support team provides advice and guidance on a range of issues affecting study and welfare. The university’s education advisers can also provide guidance on course, assessment and financial issues, and can help students to work through any concerns they might have. Workshops run each semester to help students adjust to UK study methods and teaching styles. The team also works closely with Hallam Union and other groups to provide activities and social events throughout the year. Accommodation There are many different types of accommodation available for international students. The University guarantees all undergraduate and postgraduate international students a place either in University owned, managed, partnership or private sector accommodation.
