Oct. 11, 2010 - PRLog -- After 7-day National Holiday of China, TomatoCart Team brings you good news that TomatoCart V1.1 gets released! Based on the original features and characteristics, TomatoCart now is improved with more fascinating functions, which even can be comparable with other commercial shopping cart software. Thanks to all forum members, who gave us inspiration and suggestions, TomatoCart team can walk here.

To compete with other four Open Source Ecommerce Applications, TomatoCart team attaches much more importance with 2010 Open Source Awards. TomatoCart V1.1 will help us a lot at the moment.

New features of Version 1.1 include:
Polls/ Guest Book which should be a effective communicative platform between shop owner and customers.
Tinymec Editor Integrated which supports flash, movies and images in product description and article description

Captcha for Contact Us Form & Guest Book protect the site from spam.
Department Email Management allow user customize the contact us form and assign different email address to different email topic.
Different language in admin panel and store front.
Image watermark for products and articles
Pop up categories menu add variety to the site effect.
Product image zoom + light box to display large image

Product Rating System enables shop owner specify the rating options.
Product attachment provides users with specification or something else needed in the shop.
Product Accessories/Customization with self-defined field/Duplicate
Product Save and Continue Edit Button
New layout for product variants

Enable admin to control page title, meta keywords and meta description for home page, articles categories, articles, manufacturers
Update the page title = page title + "-" + store name
Add a meta page field in template class to separate the page title with the meta page title
