Oct. 6, 2010 - PRLog -- With a major VAT increase set to kick in on 4 January it’s sensible to invest in new products before the New Year.

The Government’s legislation will see VAT rise from 17.5 per cent to 20 per cent in the New Year.

So for larger investments, such as home improvement, consumers can save hundreds, or even thousands, of pounds by making an early purchase.

The tax increase also means it will cost companies more to order to the materials in.

So experts at Kitchen Design Centre are advising potential buyers to purchase their modern kitchens now to avoid losing their money.

With the suppliers increase, 8 per cent, and the VAT increase on the kitchen itself, 2.5 per cent, buying a designer kitchen in the New Year would cost consumers a whopping 10 per cent more.

Putting that into context, a stylish £10,000 modern kitchen will cost £1000 more after 4 January.

And, with a only limited amount of installation slots available, Kitchen Design Centre urges its customers to place orders for new kitchens before 1 November.

Any kitchens which are booked after this date will have to yzzqgq be fitted in the New Year.
