Balado’s big bash may be done and dusted for another year, but just three months since the latest staging of T in the Park, Kinross is primed to come alive with the sound of music once again!

Having hosted Paisley-born singer-songwriter Paolo Nutini during 2010’s ‘T’, The Green Golf Hotel & Leisure Club is gearing up to welcome some of today’s top musical talent to a brand new music venue within the grounds of the hotel itself.         
Launching on 15th October with a performance from Glasgow legend  Frank O’Hagan, ‘Backstage at the Green Hotel’ will offer gig-goers a unique and unforgettable experience, combining the Green’s gift for great hospitality and the extensive industry experience of operators Mundell Music .

In-keeping with Mundell’s previous music ventures, gigs will be kept intimate with performers encouraged to join fans for a post-show chat and a drink at the bar, while the calendar of events will incorporate a wide range of acts from many genres of music.
Over the years, Mundell – who started the hugely successful Fifestock festival –  have worked with hundreds of headline acts at venues across Scotland, including Ian ‘Mac’ McLagan, Simon Kirke, Benny Gallagher, Curtis Stigers, Nik Kershaw, Lindisfarne and KT Tunstall to name just a few.

And with The Green’s superb new venue ready for business, there are certain to be more magical Mundell nights for gig-goers to enjoy. Just minutes from the M90 and less than an hour from Edinburgh and Perth, Backstage at the Green Hotel promises to become an exciting new centre for the Scottish music scene.
