Oct. 4, 2010 - PRLog -- In the spring, Affordable Closets Plus helped raise over a million dollars by participating in three designer showhouses benefiting local hospitals. This month, the company, with offices in Frenchtown, NJ, and Bangor, PA, is continuing its philanthropic work by sponsoring New Jersey Fashion Week 2010, a two-day event to raise money for the Susan G. Komen for the Cure North Jersey Affiliate.

Billed as the state’s most prestigious fashion and beauty event, New Jersey Fashion Week will be held October 11-12 from 6 pm to 10 pm at the beautiful Pleasantdale Chateau in West Orange, NJ International fashion designers from New York, New Jersey, California and Italy will present their Spring/Summer 2011 collections to leading editors, beauty experts, retailers, potential buyers and consumers.

As a sponsor, Affordable Closets Plus will provide loaner garment racks for the designers’ beautiful fashions, as well as customized shelving units to display items that the Susan G. Komen for the Cure nonprofit will sell.

“High fashion deserves premiere closets and storage,” explains Angel Martin, co-owner of Affordable Closets Plus. “We are pleased to be a sponsor of this event and to support Susan G. Komen for the Cure, which helps so many women combat breast cancer. The majority of our clients are women, so we are excited to support this cause. As the founders of New Jersey Fashion Week have noted, ‘Giving back never goes out of style.’”
