Million Dollar Mattress Opens Milford, NH Showroom.

With all that the MDM website offers to customers in education, high quality products and ease of use, the human factor is difficult to address. Every Million Dollar Mattress is custom made for the buyer by a very select team of mattress craftsmen in New England, from the highest and purest quality materials. One cannot go to the local mattress warehouse store and try one of the common brands to get an equal comparison.

Haase Cable Enterprises, in connection with their sister company- Cable's Upholstery Design Studio-, decided that mattress buyers really need to try the Million Dollar Mattress styles to find their ultimate comfort level. Descriptions are great, but trying it is better!

The new show room has a "beach cottage" theme. "We want customers to feel really comfortable as soon as they walk in the door", said Pat Haase, president of Haase Cable Ent. "We didn't want it to be a high-pressure feel. Another reason we felt 'beach cottage' was the design we wanted was because our all natural latex mattress line deserved a fresh 'green' look to emphasize pureness and chemical-free nature of these mattresses.
The mattresses selected to be on the showroom floor are the most green, natural mattresses in the area. We have 2 styles of 100% natural latex mattresses with organic cotton covers and Talalay latex, 2 natural Talalay latex/ soy foam combinations and 2 soy based memory foam styles. Firmnesses range from very firm to ultra plush, so there is something for every sleeper available."

Mary Cable of Cable's Upholstery Design Studio contributed to the design of the new store.
"To add to the beachy-ness of the showroom, we used wicker and lattice work and a lot of natural tropical plants," said Cable. " Since the design studio would be located within the store, we needed to design the space to be inviting for both those looking for a better night's sleep as well as for upholstery customers. I feel that we have accomplished those goals."
" It's not the decor that's most important," added Mary Cable, " but the absolute quality of every mattress we sell and the quality of the custom furnishings we produce here as well.  I don't know of another mattress company around here that actually knows the materials from the inside out like we do. We're not sales people, but we're upholsterers. We know
comfort.  
"We also know why other big-store mattress brands are always 50% off. The reason is they use cheap materials hiding in a pretty cover.  We don't have investors to please with higher profits in a bad economy. We don't have warehouses, distributors, and other middle-men needing a cut. We have a low overhead, and each mattress is made when you order it so the bulk of the cost is in the mattress itself.

"We have been approached by over-seas mattress companies to sell their products -latex, memory foam and spring mattresses, all made cheaply (our cost would be less than $200 for a queen size mattress). What the public doesn't know about these bargain mattresses is that they are made in countries where added chemicals cut costs. More added chemicals make them pass US fire safety regulations. The chemicals used, such as boric acid and formaldehyde pass us safety standards for flammability, but they are also listed by another US agency as toxic and carcinogenic.

'We could import these cheap Asian, chemical laden mattresses and inflate the price and call it a 50% off sale, but we are about honesty, quality and purity and not just a fast buck.People deserve to sleep on a bed that isn't poisoning them as they sleep"
