Dave took his work to a small Cumbrian publishing company with a view to self-publishing his book, ‘A Fishy Tail’.
2QT Publishing Ltd were so impressed with the book and audio Dave presented to them they insisted on properly publishing ‘A Fishy Tail’.

Dave is a highly creative individual who believes in an organic creative process. His creative outlets include words, music, art and people.
Dave has been writing, creating and performing for over 30 years. His writing includes poems and short stories for children and an as yet unpublished novel. He has also been involved in the production of a climbing book and has designed and published a series of humorous cards.
He is probably best known for his work in music composing and performance and has composed over 800 pieces of registered music. Over the last five years Dave has written and recorded 3 jazz albums his latest being Amser with another in the pipeline. He worked for 4 years as a musical director for a touring theatre company and toured with various musical and theatrical line-ups. He also designs and runs musical workshops.
He currently lives and works in North Wales where he writes, records and runs his slate art workshop (Parc Glynllifon, Gwynnedd) making unique slate sculptures as well as everyday objects. He is passionate about his art and is currently chairman of a collective of nine Welsh Artists (Artistaid yr Iard). Somehow Dave also finds time to sail his boat, climb, walk and paint!
