First Look: 2011 Chrysler Town & Country

Sept. 30, 2010 - PRLog -- . The Chrysler Group has been updating 15 of their vehicles, and the Town & Country is one of those vehicles getting updates.

This minivan gets an extreme refresh, which it needed, to the interior and exterior designs, along with an all new powertrain, and is expected to have 17 city/25 highway miles per gallon.

“If you thought the minivan segment was fading from view, think again," said MotorTrend magazine after its first look at photos of the 2011 Chrysler Town & Country.

Under the hood of this revamped Chrysler, the Town & Country will offer Chrysler’s new Pentastar V6 engine, delivering 283 horsepower and 260-lb-ft of torque with six-speed transmission.

The 2011 Town & Country receives a thoroughly revamped interior, the magazine said. "Thankfully, this makeover isn't only skin-deep. The 2011 Town & Country is fitted with Chrysler's new 3.6-liter Pentastar V-6 and a six speed automatic transmission as standard equipment."

Exterior changes give the minivan an updated look that corresponds to the other Chrysler models. Interior changes include a new steering wheel, new instrument panel design and upgraded materials throughout.

Responding to photos of the minivan's interior released by the company, Kickingtires.com website said the interior appears "to live up to Chrysler’s claim that the interior is 'beautifully crafted.'

The Town & Country cuts to the chase by providing a diversity of function and reliability of a sure ride at a great price. Its aerodynamic shape and raised roof-line work together to reduce wind-noise and improve on fuel economy.
