Sept. 29, 2010 - PRLog -- Old Line Publishing, LLC has announced the final lineup of authors for its biggest book event of the year. Ten authors will be participating in this year’s book signing being held at Greetings & Readings in Hunt Valley, Maryland on October 2nd, from 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm.

Featured authors include Barbara Unković, author of Adriatic Blue: A Collection of Short Stories which was published in June of 2010. Adriatic Blue is an anthology of 30 short stories from New Zealand to Croatia with some unexpected detours along the way such as the horrifying reality of the Balkan War; the haunting tale of Nadia’s life in a strange new land; Sally’s problem with her pernicious bush; the wicked seductress who wanted more and Helen who contends with her husband’s perverted desires. These are tales of substance and style, about different people in different worlds. They are funny, personal, sometimes shocking, and definitely different.

Barbara lives in Račišće, a small fishing village of 200 people on the island of Korčula in Croatia, the original home of her father’s family. In addition to her short stories which have been published by More.com in the USA, she has also been published in the UK. Her most notable pieces being The Voice, which was the winner of the Writer’s Bill Board competition in February 2010 for Flash Fiction; The Flourish, which won in March 2010; Psycho, which placed second in the Global Short Stories for January 2010 competition; Nadia, winner of Writer's Bill Board UK Short Fiction competition for May 2010 and most recently The Bookworm, which was the winner of Writer's Bill Board Flash Fiction competition in August 2010.

Rene Natan will be arriving from Canada to present her new novel, The Blackpox Threat, a wonderful new suspense/thriller, published in August of 2010. Rene has authored several short stories, six romantic/suspense novels (Mountains of Dawn, Cross of Sapphires, The Collage, Operation Woman in Black, The Red Manor), and one thriller, The Jungfrau Watch. Together with Sharon Crawford (under the nom de plume R. S. Natanevin) she has recently penned the novella Fire Underneath the Ice, a tale of misplaced resentment, passion and adventure. A former professor with The University of Western Ontario, Rene Natan makes her home in Strathroy, Ontario.

Other local authors who will also be attending include Domingo Rocha (Death Down Under, May 2010), Allison Tutalo (Allie and Her Square Feet, August 2009 and It’s Special to Me, April 2010), J.S. Brooks (Michael and the New Baby, February 2009), Michael T. Barbour (The Kenai Catastrophe, January 2010 and Blue Water, Blue Island, March 2010), Ginger Chiveral (At The Appointed Time, September 2010), David Edsall (What If No One Believed?, April 2010) and Dwight Johnson (Arnold Tales, November 2009).

“We are extremely proud of all of our authors and we try very hard to support their efforts by creating these exciting book signing opportunities. It’s fun for both the author and the reader and it also serves as a means to market and increase sales potential for their book,” says Craig Schenning, Owner and Principal of Old Line Publishing. He adds that while not every book will make it to the NY Times bestseller list, every book does have potential and he enjoys the creativity often expressed by the varied authors. Craig Schenning will be on hand to talk with prospective authors about their book ideas and manuscripts.
